Website re-platform and development for an artists portfolio & online store
The Brief
Daisy Emerson is an artist who specialises in hand painted type and lettering, she creates one off commission pieces alongside limited edition prints, cards and homewares which she sells through her online shop. Her original website was built on Sqaurespace and didn’t offer her the level of customisation and functionality that she wanted to display her work in her own signature style.
Daisy wanted a fully customisable website that could display the different aspects of her work beautiful, acting as an online portfolio whilst also incorporating a sophisticated e-commerce solution that could handle the bespoke options she offers her customer.
The Result
The site is built on Shopify, one of the best platforms for e-commerce websites, it has a very user-friendly CMS which the client loved and allowed them to make updates and changes to the website themselves after the site was launched. I created portfolio pages to displays highly quality images of the various aspects of the client’s work.
The site is fully optimised for web and devises. I fully managed the re-platforming of the website from Sqaurespace to Shopify, migrating all historic order and client information over to the new platform and connected the site to their various marketing platforms and social media accounts.
