Website re-platform, development & rebrand for
a broadcast journalist, writer & presenter
The Brief
Jemma Forte is a broadcast Journalist, writer & presenter, she is a regular on Jeremy Vine on C5, BBC papers and SKY news, she has written five novels and regularly writes for The Times. Jemma came to me looking to update and rebrand her website in order for it to better reflect her current focus as a political broadcast journalist. Jemma wanted a site that really reflected who she is as a person and that also showcased her recent work while being easy for her to update with her new projects.
The Result
The site is built on Wix, as this is a platform that the founder Jemma felt more comfortable with updating her content on in the future, than she did with her current platform WordPress. I worked closely with the client to create a new logo and branding that better reflected her personality and current work. I incorporated a photo and video gallery in order to showcase a range of her recent television work along with a twitter feed on her homepage as this is the social media platform she is most active on. I carried out keyword research for the client ensuring the websites SEO would mean her website ranked well in the Google search results.
